The body clock synchronizes with natural blue portion of the light spectrum, which is predominant in the morning and absent at night. Workers returning home in the early hours of the morning, after a night shift, will be exposed to a high concentration of natural blue light, which will activate the daytime biological process and make it difficult to sleep. Similarly, as high levels of blue light emanate from electronic devices, their utilisation at night will be detrimental to sleep duration and quality.

How the CHRON-OPTIC
lenses work
Chron-Optic lenses are designed to cut all wavelengths below 540mm representing the blue portion of the visible light. Our biological clock is the most sensitive to these wavelengths. When exposed to it, the brain triggers the daytime biological rhythms via our central clock, which causes us to stay awake. By wearing the CHRON-OPTIC blue blocker eyewear, these stimulating wavelengths are cut, maintaining the body clock in night mode, facilitating sleep.
Unlike sunglasses, lens filters do not dim the overall light, leaving a sun-kissed sensation. CHRON-OPTIC lenses also reduce glare and improve color contrast for better vision and eye relaxation.
